This Weekend in Shepherdstown – Live Theater, Oscar Films and Music

This weekend will be the final showings of the Sam Shepard classic A Fool For Love at the Shepherd University Theater Department‘s Studio Theater. Now’s the time to see a classic Shepard play before his newest work debuts at the Contemporary American Theater Festival in July. We hear the student actor playing Eddie is an actor to watch out for.

The Shepherdstown Opera House continues showing The King’s Speech and 127 Hours, both Oscar-nominated films. The Tom Principato Band will be performing live at the Opera House on Friday night as well. For music of a more classic variety, the Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra will be performing on Saturday night at the Frank Center, brought to you by the Friends of Music.
