19 shopping days until Christmas, and the stores in Shepherdstown are well-stocked for gift-giving with one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry, locally-roasted coffee, and adorable shoes and clothes for all ages. The weekend of December 10th features a Saturday evening and Sunday matinee of the Nutcracker Ballet, performed at the Frank Center by the Shepherdstown School of Music and Dance. The Christmas Bazaar will also be open at the War Memorial Building on German Street on Saturday.
Old Tyme Christmas continues at Harpers Ferry on Dec. 11 and 12, with music, puppets, and a strolling Santa and Mrs. Clause. It’s an easy drive from Shepherdstown! We’ve got a few rooms open at the Inn, where it’s a short walk to dinner and shopping and the fire will be lit for evening relaxing with a cup of hot tea or cocoa. Happy Holidays –
