It’s a big spring weekend coming up in Shepherdstown!
Saturday brings us the Easter parade (at 11:00 a.m.) with amazing displays of Easter finery on citizens, children and dogs. Prizes abound for the best bonnets!
Afterwards, the annual Easter Egg hunt happens on the lawn of the Little House. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance.
Last but not least, the Shepherdstown Farmers Market has opened again for the season. This weekend it will be in the usual spot behind the library, but on Saturday, April 11 so that you may pick up all your goodies for Easter Sunday dinner. The following weekend the market returns to its regularly scheduled time and place of Sundays from 9 to 1.
We still have rooms open for the weekend. Doesn’t someone want to borrow my pink bunny ears while they watch the parade?
