Directions to the Thomas Shepherd Inn B&B from Dulles Airport

From the Dulles Airport access road take the VA-267 toll west towards Leesburg.

After about 13 miles, take the VA-7 west exit (# 1A) towards Leesburg.

After about 5 miles, take the VA-9 west exit towards Charles Town.

After about 10 miles, make a right turn onto VA-671 towards Harpers Ferry.

After about 7.5 miles the road comes to a T intersection with US-340. Make a left turn onto US-340 south towards Harpers Ferry.

After about 5 miles, turn right onto WV-230 north.

Stay on 230 for about 10 miles until it ends in Shepherdstown at the intersection of German and Duke Streets. You will be at a 4-way stop intersection and the inn will be across the intersection, on the corner, to your left. Make a left turn onto Duke Street and park either on the right side of the street next to the inn or in the gravel lot at the rear of the inn's yard.

The trip is a little over 50 miles and should take between 1 and 1.5 hours.
