Good food is a unique part of the Shepherdstown experience. We have several wonderful restaurants within walking
distance of the inn, and more only a short drive away. They range from fine dining to fun and casual, and include both American and ethnic cuisines.
Almost all are locally-owned; there are no chain restaurants within Shepherdstown's city limits.
Many feature seasonal and local foods, like Appalachian ramps, morel mushrooms, fiddleheads, local pork, organic beef, apples and peaches.
We have tried them all and are happy to make recommendations!
