Live Music
O'Hurleys General Store
Every Thursday night, local and visiting musicians perform Appalachian and heritage music at O'Hurleys General Store on Washington
Street by the railroad tracks.
Jay Hurley (born in the rooms above the store that he still lives in) doesn't serve food or liquor, although sometimes there is
hot chocolate warmed by the fire in the winter months.
He does serve up one of the best ways to experience Appalachian music and local Shepherdstown color each and every Thursday around
8:00 p.m.
Additional performances during Christmas in Shepherdstown.
